New cvrc officers elected

The annual election of officers was held at the November 13th general meeting.  Elected for the 2019 year were new and returning officers:

  • President:  Larry Beagle
  • Vice President:  Dale Clement
  • Secretary:  Steve Jones
  • Treasurer:  Mickie Clement

Actually, they are all returning, some with time off.  Thank you to those who ran.  A big thanks to Jen Shaw, K1JNE, retiring after years of service to the club as President.

CVRC Meeting November 13th

Our next CVRC Meeting will be at the Hopkinton Library in Contoocook on Nov. 13.    At 7:30, Steve Jones, N1JHJ, will lead a “Build-a-Thon” where you can  make a 6 or 10 Meter Dipole Antenna.  If you want to just watch, or help make them, please, attend our first meeting back in the Library, after the Library’s fire.

For those who wish to build an antenna, email N1JHJ, at: loosconect@….  Materials to build the 2 wire antennas cost $10.00 for the 6 Meter, and $12.00 for the 10 Meter antenna.

Mark your calendars for the CVRC Family Christmas Party on Dec. 8, from 4:30 to 8:30 at the Ichiban Japanese Steak House on Manchester Street in Concord.  The “Yankee Swap” will start at 6, so, if you miss the meal, please come for the Party!

New CVRC Web Site

Welcome to the new CVRC web site that looks much like the old site.  There are a few differences that are primarily limitations of the current host, and the ability to prepare this site on short notice.  Unfortunately we have yet to gain access to previous content.

If you subscribed to email of site changes on the old site, you will need to sign up again to follow this site (on the left sidebar menu).  If you are a CVRC member who had posting rights, you will need to go through the process of obtaining WordPress login credentials, and then joining this site.  Follow the links on the top menu bar.  Comments and questions can be addressed to the moderator at the address on the Contact page.
